SONIC IN FLICKY ROM hack created by Techokami March 8th, 2021 -=STORY=- The nefarious Dr. Robotnik has zapped Sonic the Hedgehog with a super shrinking ray! But before Sonic could reach the mustached menace, his friend Flicky called for help! Her buddies, the Chirps, are stuck in various buildings, and need to be escorted to safety. Sonic, without hesitation, offered to help Flicky's friends. And so Sonic begins the rescue mission... -=BACKGROUND=- Once upon a time, on the Spriter's Resource, Sonicfan32 posted this: https://www.spriters-resource.com/custom_edited/sonicthehedgehogcustoms/sheet/116526/ A user by the name of ThomasTheHedgehog888 asked how to put it into the game without disassembling it. Recently, while revisiting this sheet and its comments, my ADHD went "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED" and I started tearing into the game itself. After mapping out the locations of the compressed graphics archives, the pointers to said archives, and finding more than enough empty space to relocate archives to, I actually went and implemented the sprites into the game proper. I also implemented the suggestion from WilliamStef and replaced the woman in the window with a Tails cameo. After about a total of 6 hours of work, the hack was completed. I was not able to edit the in-game credits, as there is not enough space to insert new text and I cannot locate the pointer used for the text.
